Days like yesterday leave me feeling completely empty.  So full of myself that I am just void of Truth.  So focused on the world that bitterness and anger seep so far down in my heart that no Light can shine through.  So attacked by the Enemy that I have trouble seeing Jesus.

Empty.  Void.  Blank. Vacant.

That accurately describes how I felt yesterday.  Empty and sick of myself.

But, it also accurately describes how I feel today. 

However, today, on the way to work, I asked God to empty me of me.  To help me pour out all of myself so that I could be full of Him.  

I heard this verse in my spirit after I got out of the way......

"Who will separate us from Christ’s love?

Will we be separated by trouble, or

distress, or harassment, or famine,

or nakedness, or danger, or sword?...

But in all these things we win

a sweeping victory through the one who loved us.

 I’m convinced that nothing can separate

us from God’s love in Christ Jesus our Lord:

not death or life, not angels or rulers,

not present things or future things, not powers

or height or depth, or any other thing that is created."

Romans 8: 35, 37-39
