Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

I am one proud step-mama!  Victor is an exceptional athlete and he proves that in any sport that he takes a notion to play.  But he is an especially talented baseball player.  Every single game this season he has had at least one homerun---EVERY SINGLE GAME!  If I wasn't the size of a whale, I would jump up and down or attempt a cartwheel, but instead I will stick to bragging about him to anyone who will listen and clapping my hands until they burn.  Tonight's game was no exception---3 homeruns!  And boy can he run....

Maybe for his mama and daddy's sake (and me and his step-dad) he will get an athletic scholarship...preferably to Clemson, but I'm not holding my breath.  I don't try to force that on him----well, maybe I do just a little, but I don't give him a hard time when he comes to Florence wearing something from the other school in Columbia.  The point is, he is such a gifted athlete.  If he sticks to it, I could definately see him playing for the college team of his choice.  And I will proudly sport those colors---orange or not----unless of course his team is playing Clemson and then I HAVE to wear orange.  And I've already warned him about that, too.
