my people

the Wolfpack fan, who travels between tennis matches and is faced with being the parent of her parent now

the stay-at-home mama, with a child waiting for her in Korea, who will deliver coffee creamer to your doorstep on a Saturday morning when you need it in the worse way

the HR professional, with two grown boys and a little girl, who mentors me in the ways she will never know

the preacher's wife and avid Clemson fan, who breathes honesty and humor in the same breath

the mama, who, between gymnastics, softball and a toddler, could run laps around me without breaking a sweat

the girl who keeps me in stitches with stories of her grandmas, and just life in general

the girl whose heart still resides in upstate South Carolina

the wife and mother, who had originally planned to be a sheep farmer in Montana

the Tennessee mom, raising a high schooler, an almost-middle schooler and a toddler, who keeps me fed with banana bread

the mother and business owner, whose heart for social work stays with her

the cop, whose heart of truth shines bright and speaks volumes to my soul

the entrepreneur, from jewelry to gifts to clothes, she does it all without complaining and a big ol' smile on her face

the lady who is taking a leap of faith all the way to Kenya

the mama of a missionary, whose peaceful spirit calms the raging seas in my soul

the newbie, who might have just joined the group, but her thirst for the Lord is evident through her heart

the girl who followed God's will and wound up back in Ohio for a seaon of waiting

the compassionate one, who also happens to be my sister-in-law, whose heart for others is infectious

the college student, who was brave enough to go back to school and studies alongside her kids, teaching them life lessons along the way

the cake artist, who can plan a wedding, decorate anything and bake a cake, while still looking stylish and unfrazzled

the alto, who also happens to be my mother-in-law, and can sing my baby to sleep like none other

the nurse, whose life experiences and walk with Christ have taught me many things along my journey

the runner, whose metabolism {and eating habits} I envy....along with her Hollywood hair and cute wardrobe

the photographer, who happens to be my best friend, whose eye for art keeps her fashionable and edgy and fun

the other Tennessee mom, who will slip a Heath bar {my favorite} in my bag on a day when chocolate is needed in the worse way

Who are these women?

I call them my Beloved Beauties.  They are the women that I do life with.  They are the women that I laugh with.  They are the women that I cry with {A LOT}!  They are the women that I pray with and for.  They are the women that I study the Word with.  They are the women that make me want to grow in my relationship with the Holy Spirit.

They are my people.  My girls.  My prayer warriors.

And I love them each to pieces and pieces.

"As iron sharpens iron,
   so one person sharpens another."
~Proverbs 27:17
