Trust. Huh? That's big word.
I trust that my car will crank every morning. I trust that I will have hot water when I get in the shower. I trust that my husband will love me as much tomorrow as he does today. I trust that I'm doing a pretty good job as a mama {most days, anyway}.
But trust that God's plan for me is best? Trust that He is working things out for good? Trust that He has everything under control? Trust that nothing takes Him by surprise?
That can be pretty tough.
In the midst of the latest struggles my family is facing, I have found myself consciously reciting Scripture about trust.
Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.
Don't assume that you know it all.
don't try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God's voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he's the one who will keep you on track.
Don't assume that you know it all.
Proverbs 3:5-6 (MSG)
Trust and obey. Because there's no other way; to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
But I trust in your unfailing love.
I will rejoice because you have rescued me. Psalm 13:5 (NLT)
I will rejoice because you have rescued me. Psalm 13:5 (NLT)
I pray that God, the source of hope,
will fill you completely with joy and peace
because you trust in him.
Then you will overflow with confident hope
through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13 (NLT)

If we could just "get" the fact that His love really IS unfailing... Thanks for posting today! Very encouraging!
