Ok, now let's get serious....a friend of mine sent this "award" to me and I thought it looked like fun.
Here are THE rules:
1. Thank the person(s) who gave this award to you.
2. List 7 things that people may not know about you.
3. Pass it on to 15 other bloggers (I did 7).

Tracey, thanks for honoring me with this coveted award. I mean, seriously, you just make me laugh with your wit and dash of spice. Tracey and I met at church a few years ago. We were baptized on the same day, are in the same Sunday School class, and attend Bible study together. You are such a special friend to me. I am blessed to call you my friend and my sister in Christ. Your encouragement, prayers and friendship have brought much joy to my life. I am looking forward to Harper and Maddox being dedicated together. Perhaps they will forge a special friendship like we did after our baptism. I love you, Tracey!

Seven things most people do not know about me.....
1. In college, I had planned on majoring in Biology and studying to be a perfusionist. Much to my dismay (and the parentals), my grade point average did measure up my first semester at Clemson. And by not measure up, I mean I had never seen those letters on a report card before. I vividly remember Jimmy Griggs (that would be my Diddy) saying something along the lines of..."I'm not sending you to school to have fun. If you ever bring home anything less than a 3.0, I will jerk you out of Clemson and you will back in Florence so fast your head will spin." I've always----ALWAYS----taken my Diddy at his word, so I switched majors and hit the books.
2. I do not know how to roller skate. I shutter at the thought of my daughter wanting to have her birthday party at Skateland. I mean, I break a sweat thinking about it.
3. I can not stand strawberries....or anything strawberry flavored. Yuck!
4. I kept my driver's permit for an entire year because I was afraid to drive. The thought of 15-year old me driving through Five Points brought tears to my eyes. I just assumed be chauffered around. The week of my 16th birthday, Jimmy Griggs, told me I was going to get my license before my permit expired. He drove to the DMV.....and home.
5. I spent six weeks of my junior year in high school working as a page for Senator Strom Thurmond. I count it is one of the most interesting times in my life. I learned so much during my time in Washington. It was honor to work in his office and learn more about our nation and our government.
6. After taking a class on the 1960's at REACH my fourth grade year, I was slightly obsessed with the Kennedys. Actually, obsessed is an understatement. Let's just say, I was abnormally interested in the Kennedy family. It was a bit ridiculous.
7. My mama had to pick my chicken off the bone for me until I was, like, nine. Yeah, nine sounds like a good age. My sister will tell you thirteen. She's probably right. I thought meat on a bone was gross. It wasn't until I pregnant I discovered how good fried chicken was....but still the thought of meat on the bone is a little unnerving for me. I try not to think about it.
